Aisling De Capitani
Aisling graduated from the University of Limerick in 2016 with a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy. During her time in UL she completed placements in each of the core areas of physiotherapy and found that she had a particular interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Since her graduation she has followed this interest by working in private practice where she treats a wide variety of injuries and conditions on a daily basis. These include neck and back pain, knee issues, shoulder injuries and tendon problems to name but a few. Aisling also instructs several Pilates classes each week.
Aisling is dedicated to continuing her professional development and has undergone additional training in areas including deep dry needling, strength and conditioning, Pilates, the treatment of low back pain, upper and lower limb injuries.
Aisling understands that every person is unique and she is committed to providing individually tailored, patient centred treatment. She is a strong believer in the role of exercise, regardless of age or level of fitness, but she also uses a wide variety of hands on treatments to facilitate recovery and injury prevention. Aisling regularly uses techniques such as myofascial release, joint mobilisations, dry needling, and deep tissue massage. She believes in providing patients with the tools and understanding they need in order to manage their issue or injury in the long-term and improve quality of life.
