Caoimhe Lyons
Caoimhe Lyons graduated with a first-class honours in Bsc of Physiotherapy in the University of Limerick. She is a member of CORU the Physiotherapy regulatory body and the ISCP. Since graduating Caoimhe has worked in both the Acute hospital and Community setting working with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological and respiratory conditions. Caoimhe is committed to providing Physiotherapy services with empathy and a smile, to the highest professional standards. In addition to her Physiotherapy studies, she is currently a student on the Graduate Entry Medicine Programme.
Caoimhe is a member of the Senior Limerick Camogie team which has provided her with experience in providing and receiving Physiotherapy expertise from top-class physiotherapists and working with high-level athletes. Her involvement with sport enstills her with emphasising the importance of return to high functional levels of occupation and sports post-injury. She has a strong interest in strength and conditioning and Pilates classes which she believes plays an influential role in injury prevention and injury rehabilitation. Caoimhe has completed the APPI Matwork Level 1 and 2 Pilates Courses and teaches Pilates classes in the clinic.
