Christina Hayes
Christina graduated from the University of Limerick with a 1st class honours degree in BSc Physiotherapy in 2020. Christina began her Physiotherapy career working in private practice in 2020 and has continued to work in this area since then. Christina also gained experience in acute care in the University Hospital Limerick and in North Tipperary primary care setting. While working in primary care, Christina developed a keen interest in care of the older adult. Currently, Christina is completing her PhD at The University of Limerick where she is exploring integrated care models for community dwelling older people.
Christina demonstrates a keen interest in management of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. She has been involved with many sporting teams, including the Tipperary u20 footballers since graduation.
Christina believes that management of chronic pain and prevention of injuries is facilitated by regular exercise, including Pilates. She has training in Pilates, advanced strength and conditioning but to name a few.
