Rachel Cawker
Rachel completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada in 2019 before graduating from the University of Limerick for MSc Physiotherapy in 2024. During her time on placement, Rachel gained experience in the acute and community setting working with children all the way up to older adults. Throughout her experience, Rachel became most interested in musculoskeletal and sports injury rehabilitation.
Rachel first became interested in Physiotherapy after having attended clinics throughout her career as a competitive and professional Irish dancer. As she got older, she wanted to be able to help people the same way her physiotherapist had helped her, whether it is returning to sport, or getting back to their daily lives pain free.
Rachel understands the importance of exercise in the role of rehabilitation as well as hands on treatments such as massage and joint mobilization. Rachel is dedicated to continuing her professional development to provide the best quality treatment to her patients. She is currently working on completing her dry needling certification.
